Safe mode doesn't work (get blue screen of death). The desktop backgrond color also was changed to a bright green and all the desktop shortcuts were highlighted. I had to load Spyware Doctor via a flash drive because internet was also disabled. I'am not saying this is a complete fix you should still run whatever anti* app and MS essentials.
