I have Windows 7 though. Report jk- Aug 19, 2014 at 05:15 AM thanks. Restoring to 2 days ago didn't work but restoring to the prior restore point (5/12 I think) worked. Ask ! navigate here

This way of correcting with the Ctl + F5 suggests to me that the mouse pad can easily be disabled accidentally in the same way - by unknowingly pressing those buttons..
